The story of Harshad X Sad. I am 23 years old. I’m a wedding showroom manager but stunting and bike riding lover. I was always passionate of biking always been adventurous or risk talking since my childhood. I always had a motto of completing my dream.
I was 14 when I first rode BMX bike for all type of riding: Park, street, flatland, dirt & perform spectacular tricks in breathtaking hilly dangerous location, That was the actual time when my love started for bikes.
Than a couple of year of Struggling and saving, i bought my own FZ16 in 2011, that happiness was unexplained, I started riding since than, My first motorbiking tour taken when i was 18, I rode 400 kms distance from Dungarpur to Ajmer breathtaking at night on NH 48, It gonna first time too amazing ride. Than i take commitment that.
“ALWAYS GO WITH THE CHOICE THAT SCARE YOU THE MOST, TAKE THE ROAD THAT HAS MORE ÇURVES.”
So I was 19, in 2012 when i decided to Cover world’s highest motor-able road. My parents, family & friends, fully supported me for my trip, help me for packing the required equipments, clothes, riding gears, first aid kit etc. I departure on (12th MAY 2012), I was so excited for My first ride ever – Khardung La – 18380 ft.
The route I had planned for was udaipur(+100kms) ->Jaipur(+300kms) -> Delhi(+100kms) –> Chandigarh (+260 kms)–> Manali (+330 Kms)–> Tandi (+130 Kms)–> Sarchu (+140 Kms) –> Leh (+280 Kms) –> Khardung La (+45 Kms).
The next morning, till about 9 am, I stayed at “Manali” admiring the stunning views of the snow peaks in the distance against the clear blue skie. As we rattled along on the dusty and bumpy road to “Rohtang Pass”, which is also zero point, we found the heavy traffic jams to be annoying as tourists made a beeline to set their feet on snow at Rohtang Pass. I stopped for an hour at Rohtang Pass, enjoying the below freezing temperatures but suddenly when i get ready to go ahead I face a big problem, Army Officers stops me to go ahed by Manali-Leh routes, They told me that all knows that journey of Manali-Leh is too short only around 472 kms taken but because of torrential rain, LANDSLIDE & HEAVY SNOWFALL BLOCKS the Manali-Leh Highway in May month. Unfortunately i returns from there and again back reach Rohtang, Than i get totally depressed that what to do now, I was Crying that time totally confused, than i call my dad that what can i do he encourage me that you can do it by take another route don’t be depressed, Than i feel that i can do anything so i encourage myself that i can’t stop my trip in half.
I complete it by arriving at the top, Than i decided to take long route which takes (+ 1200Kms) to reach, I again start my left journey by covering long distance Srinagar-Leh Highway, Change My Route Srinagar (+660kms)–to > Leh (+250 Kms) –> Khardung La (+45 Kms). I get so tired, but self confident. I go and go speeding up. As i proceed, the traffic thinned rapidly as the terrain got rougher. Only die-hards, locals and the Indian army were to be seen around. Temperature goes fall rapidly, and I was extremely uncomfortable in the morning So even after a late start, Finally I reach Khardung la, My dream become true !!
Finally, i arrive there!! I fix my flag there !!!! I capture the moments, It was a feeling of huge satisfaction proud feeling unexplained happiness on my face. I had scaled the highest motor-able road in the world. I Return back and Depart in my city on (22 May 2012).This is one of my great riding story, And soon I Plan for another motor-able riding trip.
This is my Experience of Riding :-
I Ride To Fly, to feel, to touch, to breath, to laugh, to soar, to Overcome, to relax, to prove them wrong, to belong, to feel strong, to heal, to love, and to loved back, to communicate without words.
I LOVE BIKE, LOVE RIDE
