As it took nearly 20 years to Find my true passion that is motorcycle racing. The entire family was against it. Being a noob it was too hard to find the correct procedure to enter this sport. A senior rider Mr. Hari Krishnan 03 (Honda Ten 10 Racing ) gave ideas and guided me.
I attended Honda Ten 10 Racing Academy training session which held in Chennai MMSC Race Track. Here is the part I realized racing is equals to money. I had contract with 36 rockers racing team for 2016 season. I took part in National Championship 165cc novice category. Being pursuing engineering it was tuff to race had no time to do fitness. No fitness no racing. A rider should have clear mind to push limits on race track unfortunately I couldn’t.
Had a high speed crash during practice session for round 3 National Championship broke my left collar bone Pain Pain Pain. Doctor told me take bed rest for one and half month at that time my final exams were near I had to prepare for that. I missed round 4 National Championship and Yamaha One Make Championship. Doctor advised me to not lift weight and ride bikes for 6 months but I went for practice again. Round 5 came spent all the money I had for registration and team expenses. Had a strange feeling every time I entered pit lane that’s fear if again i had a crash it would affect my degree so I couldn’t push my limits. As a rookie 2016 thought me a lot about racing. I am now ready for 2017 season.
