I personally never thought that I would be into biking and that too into passionate biking. When I used to see people ride a bike, shifting gears, I used to think, will I be ever able to do this. I found the answer with my “Buddy” (Hero Xtreme). As soon I got my Buddy, I went into Riding.
Riding a Bike gives you a felling of immense freedom, it’s just empty roads, you sit back and relax behind the handle bars and enjoy the moment, the moment that defines life. I have been into Group Riding, in and around Delhi NCR, yet to ride outstations like Leh-Ladakh and other places, waiting for the calling. It says you only visit to a place when you get the calling, so still waiting for that calling.
When I started riding a bike, I was quite under confident to ride on busy roads of Delhi and Gurgaon, then I attended a Ride in April 2014, organised by mother of all groups in Delhi i.e. Delhi Bikers Breakfast Run. Riding with this group gave a sense of how to ride a Motorcycle. So once it began, it hasn’t come to an end now, the spirit of riding is been enlightened now, and would never fade off, that’s what I hope for.
Being a part of Riding community has taken me to places, places here refer to different people. I have met and number of magnificent people. On each ride you get to know new faces new people, we interact, we become friends, some become family. Now I know hundreds of people by name and by face, and thousands know me, that’s a great thing and a great feeling.
The riding journey is moving continuously and hope this will move with the same pace. I don’t want it to go fast because I want to enjoy each and every moment of it. On September 18, 2016 I along with my partner in every ride Mr. Manish Kalia AKA Happy Singh, started our own group and we named it Parindey.
Parindey a duo of 2 Manish’s, Manish Kumar Singh AKA MaK (that’s me) and Manish Kalia AKA Happy Singh, is half an year old now. We are nurturing it with all possible essence of riding, biking, adventures, love and passion. Each rider in our group is called Parinda and we have 2 more Parinda’s now to join the clan and yes many more to count ahead.
Each month we start planning our rides, look for the roads those are still unridden. People call it Brotherhood well I have a new name and title Riderhood. So i end my short story here would have written more but you know our (Bikers) stories have no end, it only has a new beginning.
