After a very bad weather a day before, we had somehow taken shelter at Pang. The dorms were available at Rs. 250 per bed. The ride for the day would be from Pang to Leh. Finally we did reach and stayed at Leh Castle, Old Road, Leh.

Day 6 was the start of another leg, the interesting landscapes from Manali to Leh via the broken National Highway. It was a distance of approximately 150 kms but the highlight of the day would be camping beside Bhaga river at the end.
Day 4 had its own tales. It was mostly wasted waiting for Vikas, a rider whom I met at Delhi and was supposed to leave on the same day. It was a 600 km ride throughout the night and till afternoon of the next day, no less strenuous than the other days.
After a 1000 km ride on Day 1 from Kolkata to Kanpur and Kanpur to Gurgaon on Day 2, I had already done 1500+ kms. It was time to take a rest both for me and my motorcycle.
This was the 2nd Day of the Ladakh Ride from Kolkata. I left Hotel Manisha International at Kanpur and rode to Gurgaon at my friend’s place.
It was the World Motorcycle Day and I spent my day like this. Day 1 of the Ladakh Solo Ride, I had planned to ride till Varanasi / Allahabad / Kanpur. Eventually, I ended up at Kanpur. The ride was awesome and I was eagerly waiting for the days ahead.
